What Would the Left Do without Emotional Causes?

George Leef

The latest of those causes is to force colleges and universities to divest their holdings of stock in fossil fuel companies. Because some scientists are hysterical over global warming or climate change, it's obviously immoral for anyone to produce and sell fossil fuels. Lots of college kids are being led into the divestment mania, Pied Piper style. The Pope Center's Duke Cheston writes about this emotion-laden and logic-deprived movement on Minding the Campus.
