On June 9, the Center for Public Conversation in New York City hosted a conversation with William P. Mumma, President and CEO of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities USA and Barbara Dafoe Whitehead, Director of the Templeton Center for Thrift and Generosity at the Institute for American Values. NAS president Peter Wood was in the audience and asked the speakers to consider the question of whether college is an investment.
