Sociology Can be Saved

In this week's Pope Center Clarion Call, Penn State-Harrisburg sociology professor J. Scott Lewis examines the state of his discipline and finds that it suffers from a blinkered acceptance of leftist shibboleths. Debate is foreclosed and good students scared away. But he is optimistic that the discipline can be saved by returning to some of Max Weber's original ideas.
