Racial Preferences at Harvard

National Association of Scholars

This past Friday the Federalist Society sponsored a panel on Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard at its 2018 National Lawyers Convention. The lawsuit alleges that Harvard is violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act by discriminating against Asian Americans in its holistic admissions process. The case trial ended a little over two weeks ago, after three weeks of scandalous testimony on Harvard's admissions process.

NAS Board Member Professor Gail Heriot introduced the panel of distinguished scholars and professionals. The panel included Professor John Yoo, Professor Andrew Koppelman, Althea Nagai, Patrick Strawbridge, and was moderated by Fifth Circuit Judge James Ho.
