Prof. Landsburg on the Limbaugh/Fluke Controversy

George Leef

University of Rochester economics professor Steven Landsburg has blogged that he sided with Rush Limbaugh in the incident involving Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke -- not that he liked Limbaugh's language, but that his argument was good and that her argument was bad. For having taken that ever-so-politically-incorrect stance, the university president has rebuked Landsburg. IHE has the story.

I think Landsburg's position is sound and that he did not demean Fluke by pointing out that her argument for free birth control is not. Rochester's president is out of line.
