I'm referring to the University of Minnesota Rochester, the subject of my recent Pope Center Clarion Call post. UMR is a no-nonsense institution where the students want to learn and the professors want to teach them. The first class just graduated last May and I doubt that a single student is working at a Starbucks or McDonalds. They have solid preparation for carrers in health sciences.
