The election of new members to the NAS board of directors is held during the annual membership meeting to take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, 15 December 2012, at the Hilton Times Square, 234 West 42nd Street, New York City, NY 10036. The nominating committee of the current board has placed the following individuals in nomination.

The terms for the members above begin on 1 January 2013 and end on 31 December 2016. NAS members wishing to make additional nominations to the board must notify NAS secretary B. Nelson Ong in writing, no later than November 12th [the deadline has been extended to November 23rd], six weeks prior to the annual meeting (please address correspondence to NAS headquarters at 8 West 38th Street, Suite 503, New York City, NY 10018-6368). Nominating petitions must designate the number of the seat for which an individual is being nominated and include signatures of ten NAS members in good standing
Last year, the election of members to the NAS board of directors took place during the annual membership meeting at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, 10 December 2011 in Princeton, NJ.
The nominating committee had placed the following individuals in nomination. By a vote of the members present, they were elected to be NAS directors. The terms for the directors listed below began on 1 January 2012 and will end on 31 December 2015.
