How You Ask the Questions Matters

Musing about the recent Rasmussen poll showing that by more than 2 to 1, Americans oppose "affirmative action," John Rosenberg suggests here that the results would be still more lopsided if better questions were asked.

He's right and here's a question I would like to see included on future polls:

"Do you agree that a student is more valuable to a university community if his ancestry happens to be African or Hispanic?"
