FERPA -- Another Case of Federal Overreach?

In this week's Pope Center Clarion Call, Steven Roy Goodman takes a critical look at FERPA (the Family and Educational Rights Privacy Act) and argues that it often impedes access to key information about college students.

Congress should never have started to meddle in higher education and FERPA is another demonstration of the reason why the founders wanted to keep most aspects of life out of federal control.
