A former University of Buffalo scientific researcher, William Fals-Stewart, has been accused of using actors -- yes, hired, scripted actors -- as part of a painstaking plan to win acquittal in a misconduct hearing led by State University of New York officials. And, by golly, he nearly got away with it!
